meet holly

I have been a professional photographer since 2004, but have been taking photographs since 1978 when I received my first camera - a Holly Hobbie children's toy.  Since then, there has never been a time that I have been without a camera.

I'm a photographer because I love to create lasting memories.  I “see” in photographs.  I don't have a photographic memory, but if I'm talking to you, I'm snapping portraits of you in my head while we're talking.  As a child, my friends and family quickly became my subjects whether they liked it or not.  I love photography because of the way it presents life as it is - life in that moment - life that we sometimes don't see and cherish because we are too busy living it.  Catching these moments is my passion.
